CHICAGO (March 21, 2011) – For the second consecutive year, Billboard, the world’s premier music brand, Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world and Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), the leading Latin music and entertainment companies from the U.S. and Latin America, have announced dates, artists and venues for the 2nd Annual Billboard Latin Music Concert Series, “Billboard en Concierto,” presented by State Farm® in association with Western Union and AT&T and produced by CMN. Additional sponsors for the second edition of the music series include Time Warner, Goya, U.S. Cellular and New Orbit Strawberry Remix.

“Billboard En Concierto takes the excitement and the success of the Billboard charts straight to the fans via live performances,” said Leila Cobo, Billboard’s executive director of Latin content and programming. “This is our way of celebrating our finalists and thanking the fans who have made them the top stars on the charts.”

The highly anticipated, seven-city concert series will feature performances by 2011 Billboard Latin Music Award finalists Camila and Tito “El Bambino.” Mexican rock band Camila was recently recognized as a finalist for 10 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“Dejarte de Amar”) and Pop Airplay Song of the Year (“Alejate de Mi” and “Mientes”).

Meanwhile, tropical sensation Tito “El Bambino” was also acknowledged as a finalist for four awards, including Rhythm Airplay Artist of the Year “(Siente”), Rhythm Airplay Song of the Year (“Te Pido Perdon”), and Tropical Airplay Artist of the Year, Solo.

Camila is set to kick off the 2011 “Billboard en Concerto” on Sunday, April 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets to the 2nd Annual “Billboard En Concierto” by participating in promotions held by event sponsors. Telemundo will air the 22nd annual Billboard Latin Music Awards, presented by State Farm®, on April 28 live from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. They honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay and social media activity that informs Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 6, 2010 through January 29, 2011.
