CMN ADDS H&R BLOCK TO ITS CLIENT ROSTER
Agency to Oversee Global Tax Giant’s “La Troca de los Taxes” Program

CHICAGO (January 24, 2011) – Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), an award-winning multicultural event marketing and sponsorship agency, announced the addition of H&R Block to its roster of distinguished clients. CMN will activate H&R Block’s mobile community tax service, “La Troca de los Taxes.” The global firm joins CMN’s growing list of consumer and corporate clients.

CMN is now managing H&R Block’s “La Troca de Los Taxes,” a customized bus equipped with two state-of-the-art, secure tax preparation workstations. The bus is scheduled to make 20 stops at large community events throughout the greater Los Angeles area through Feb. 13. At all events, bilingual tax professionals will be on-hand to offer tax advice, prepare taxes, assist in filing for individual taxpayer identification numbers (ITIN) as well as host a myriad of games for all ages.

H&R Block has been working with the Latino community in Los Angeles for many years and has over 1,000 bilingual Spanish-speaking Tax Professionals to serve Spanish-speaking clients. Nationwide, H&R Block has more than 8,000 bilingual Spanish-speaking tax professionals and over 2,600 located in the heart of Latino communities, in addition to a Spanish Web site . H&R Block served 1.1 million Latino clients in 2010.

CMN’S roster of clients includes marquee brands such as Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, Anheuser-Busch, American Airlines, Verizon, McDonalds and MillerCoors, among others.
