After a farewell tour in 2009, the legendary Spanish singer/songwriter will return to the stage to perform in select cities including Miami, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Dominican singer Angela Carrasco, who shares a long musical history with Sesto and was part of his farewell performances in Central and South America in 2009, will again be a part of Sesto’s upcoming tour. Their most famous duets include, “Callados”, “Quererte A Ti,” and “Por Amor.”

“My fans are marvelous. They don’t want to let me go,” said the 64-year-old Sesto on his return to the stage one last time. “This [farewell] is not something that was planned. It’s something that just happened. I feel optimistic about it. I will be sad for a while, but I’ll take with me all the love my fans have given me.

“It will be a very special feeling to go back to cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and other cities that I have not visited for a while. The fans give me their warmth, their applause, their admiration -- and I give them myself entirely.”

Sesto has earned a staggering amount of No. 1 singles, including, “Fresa Salvaje”, “Algo De Mi”, “Quieres Ser Mi Amante,” “Perdoname”, and “Melina,” among others.

The artist’s career climax came while playing a main role in the Spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1975. Three years later, his song "El Amor De Mi Vida” became one of his biggest hits. To date he has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide.
