CHICAGO (March 10, 2010) – Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), one of the nation’s leading multicultural event marketing agencies, along with Live Nation, announced that Latin pop icon Chayanne is set to launch the first leg of his “No Hay Imposibles” World Tour Thursday from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles (8:00 p.m.). CMN and Live Nation will be producing the entire U.S. tour for the international music icon and winner of the 2010 Premio Lo Nuestro “Excellence Award.”
After almost three years away from the spotlight, Thursday’s tour launch will mark the return of Chayanne to the stage, and the Puerto Rican native will spend much of the next year on the road. Following on the footsteps of his hugely successful 2007 “Mi Tiempo” Tour, Chayanne will visit countries such as Mexico, Spain, Chile and Argentina before returning to North America in the fall for an additional nationwide leg, and further dates into 2011.
“CMN is delighted to serve as Chayanne’s U.S. tour promoter for the second straight time,” said Gerry Fojo, Vice President of Touring for CMN. “Chayanne is one of the most talented and exciting live performers in the world, and we’re looking forward to another memorable tour.”
Following the release of “No Hay Imposibles” earlier this year, preparations for the tour began immediately and included auditions for new dancers and a new band in Los Angeles and Miami, respectively. In his own words, Chayanne describes his latest road endeavor as “a puzzle of dances, choreography, lyrics, musical arrangements, set design, lights, video and other special effects whose pieces come together through time and many days of rehearsals.”
The culmination of those intense preparations will come to life this Thursday at the Gibson Amphitheatre. There, before his loyal fans, Chayanne will retake the stage with an electrifying show that is not to be missed.
